This being the US Independence holiday weekend, I can't resist posting this strange little recording.
I bought it from an auction of radio transcriptions and the seller thought it was a radio broadcast recording. I'm inclined to believe it was a rare commercially released recording or perhaps one put out as part of a radio station music library service.
Without further babbling on my part, here's "Parade of the Immortals", a two-sided 12" 78 rpm record on the C. Sharpe-Minor Novelty Recording label, matrix numbers KM10 and KM11.
And, no I won't tell you anything about it. Just listen and enjoy.
