Randy, thank you so much for sharing all these shows with us. Having collected radio shows for so many years it was rare to come across a series I had never heard of before. Until your blog!!! What a treat to find so many “new” obscure shows to listen to. I’ll miss being able to check in to see what new wonders you have for us. I wish you all the best and hope you’ll be back one day.

Ditto what the others have said here….this site is a highlight….all the odds and ends….stuff like the Kansas Farm Report and WEEI Job Center, the 1931 Sunkist broadcast etc. etc. etc. Thanks for everything so far!! I was amazed at the pace — posting weekly is a pace that is hard to sustain so I’m not surprised about slowing down.

This site has been one of the absolute highlights of our hobby. The OTR hobbyist’s inclination is to collect many shows at a time, and of popular series. I know — I’ve been doing exactly that for almost 40 years in this hobby. Rand’s work here has created a greater awareness for the obscure, the one-hit wonder, the unappreciated, the odd, and the unimagined variety that the golden age offered. It’s been a marvelous ride. If there’s anything that can be done to start the car up and get it back on the highway again, I’m sure I speak for others who would volunteer to pitch in.

Thanks again for all the work you’ve done in researching and bringing back to life such great material, for all the work you did in trying to get transfers from my transcription discs, for the series you’ve sent me, for the insights in the conversations we’ve had, and mostly thanks for being a great guy. Once I get through the material I’m working on, I send an email… I’d like to see what your next project/direction will be.
